Higgins, Ann (nee Ford), 92, of life long resident of Edgewater, New Jersey, on Thursday February 20, 2014. Beloved wife of the late John Francis Higgins. Loving mother of Nancy Higgins, Elizabeth & her husband Theodore Nardin, Noreen & her husband Michael Mitchell, William & his wife Lisa Higgins, Patricia & her husband Russell Sella, Timothy & his wife Christine Higgins, Eileen & her husband William MacIntosh, and the late James Higgins. Cherished grandmother of Connor Higgins, Katherine Ford Nardin, Thomas Nardin, Christopher & Corinne Mitchell, Ian, Keith, Leah, & the late Colin Higgins, Monica, Brian, Jeremy, & Isabel Sella, Stephanie Ann Higgins, and William MacIntosh. Dear sister of Margarite & her husband Joseph Linardi, Florence Rauschelbach, and the late Marie Miller, Kathleen Jones, Elizabeth DiBlasio, James, William, Matt, & John Ford. Mrs. Higgins was a life long parishioner of Holy Rosary Church, she was a long time coordinator of the Family Promise of Bergen County to feed the hungry. She served on the Holy Rosary, PTA, Scouts, and Edgewater Board of Health. Funeral Monday at 9AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, New Jersey. Funeral Mass Monday 10AM Holy Rosary Church. Cremation East Ridgelawn Crematory. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4pm & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Family Promise of Bergen County.
