Anthony Gargiulo

Anthony Gargiulo age 84 of Fairfield, NJ died on July 3, 2004 at home. Born in New York, he has lived in Fairfield for the past 50 years. Anthony was a chemical operator for Givaudan Co. in Clifton for 15 years, retiring in 1975. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Golden Agers of Fairfield. He is the beloved husband of Mildred (nee Rendzio), loving father of Anthony Gargiulo of Stuart, FL, Joan Gargiulo of Fairfield, NJ and the late Gennaro Gargiulo. He is the dear brother of Angie Poling of Carlstadt, NJ and the late Joseph Gargiulo. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren Shawn, Christian, Tara, Michael, and Catherine and 2 great-grandchildren Madison and Davis. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 9am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 7 Two Bridges Rd. Fairfield with a 10am Mass at St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice of Clifton, NJ.
