Bernard D. Consalvo, Sr.

Bernard D. Consalvo, Sr. age 76 of Lyndhurst, NJ died at Mountainside Hospital on Saturday October 21, 2006. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Patti)Consalvo. Loving father of Lorraine Giaquinto & her husband Anthony, Bernard Consalvo, Jr. & his wife Susan, and Debbie Consalvo. Cherished grandfather of Heather, Louis, Brittany, Brandan, & Bernard, III. Dear brother-in-law of Pete and Joe Patti. Bernard was born in Jersey City and moved to Lyndhurst is 1966. He was a longshoreman for NYSA-ILA of Port Elizabeth for 46 years, retiring in 1995. He worked on the Jersey City Piers. He also worked for Western Electric and at Giant Stadium in the traffic division. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst at 9am with a 10am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church. Cremation will follow at East Ridgelawn Crematory. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. The family has requested NO flowers.
