Betty Alice Moog

Betty Alice Moog (nee Brown), 79, of Hamilton, NJ passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She is survived by her two loving sons, Brian and his wife, Jennifer, and their children Jake, Kate and Shea, all of Lawrenceville, NJ; and Glenn and his wife, Ariana, and their children Isla and Emila, all of Hoboken, NJ. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Moog.

Born in Kearney, NJ on January 2, 1943, Betty was the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Brown and sister of the late Robert T. Brown. She was raised in Lyndhurst, NJ and was a graduate of Lyndhurst High Schools Class of 1960.

Betty graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Newark, New Jersey as a Registered Nurse in 1963. Betty absolutely loved being a nurse and it was one of the things she was most proud of. She was a wonderful, caring nurse and truly loved helping those in need.

Betty was a resident of Florham Park, NJ for 24 years, before retiring to Pawleys Island in 2000. Her legacy will live on in the love, spirit and memories held by her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ, with a funeral service at 12PM. Interment to immediately follow at Arlington Cemetery at 748 Schuyler Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, www.nami.org.
