Filardo, Louis J., of Lyndhurst, NJ on Monday, October 23, 2006. Beloved husband of the late Concetta Filardo. Loving father of Louis J. Filardo Jr., James P. Filardo, and Joanne Filardo. Caring brother of Michael Filardo, Michelina Resta, and the late Mary Candido. Adored grandfather of Michael Filardo. Mr. Filardo enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1953 and served in the Korean War. He owned and operated his own livery company in Lyndhurst, called, "935 Limo Services", from 1969-2003. Mr. Filardo was a member of The 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Lyndhurst, Boys Club of N.Y.C., & AmVets Post #20 of Lyndhurst. Funeral Service, Thursday, 9:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:30AM at Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Lyndhurst, NJ.
