Margaret Higgins

Margaret Higgins (nee Miterko), 89, of Kearny, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Harry Higgins. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Margaret will be missed by many family members and friends. Mrs. Higgins worked for Westinghouse in Newark for 42 years. After retirement she provided loving child care through the years for 9 different children including her great niece Alyssa Miterko. Funeral Tuesday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday, October 14, 2013, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospital, 350 Blvd, Passaic NJ 07055.
