Venice, Rose, 98, of Toms River, NJ formerly of Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, October 18, 2013. Loving sister of the late Amelia Vendola, Annie Benedict, Virginia Polito, Elvira Lento & Anthony Venice. Rose was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst before moving to Toms River four years ago. She owned a clothing business for many years in Lyndhurst and retired at the age of 80. She enjoyed New York City and most especially cheering on her favorite team, The New York Yankees. Rose's favorite moments were those spent with her many nieces and nephews and often cooked their favorite Italian dishes. Funeral Monday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery . Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
