Agapito Y. Deleon

Agapito Y. DeLeon, age 78 died on February 18, 2007 at Jersey City Medical Center. Born in the Phillipines, he lived in Jersey City for 20 years. He was a police officer in the Phillipines for 35 years, retiring in 1986. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. DeLeon is survived by his wife Concepcion (nee Calderon) and three children Clarita McGill, Carl DeLeon and Al DeLeon. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The funeral is Friday at 8am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst with a 9am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church. Entombment will follow at Laurel Grove Mausoleum in Totowa. Friends will be received on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm
