Agnes DeFrino (nee Adamo), 100, passed away peacefully Wednesday September 27, 2017 at The Rose Garden LTCC, Toms River. Born in New York City, she was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst before moving to Waretown in 2012. Aggie was happiest when knitting, crocheting, and being around her great-granchildren. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Loving mother of Jackie & her husband Dennis Lynch of Waretown, and the late Joseph DeFrino, and Elaine Layton. Cherished grandmother of Cindi Jessen, Katie & her husband Don Ecklund, and Michael & his wife Tara Lynch. Adored great-grandmother of Jack, Sianna, and Mia. Dear sister of brothers Frank, and Charles who selflessly visited his older sister regularly. Also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews. In her younger days, Aggie was a seamstress and was actively involved with Sacred Heart Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. For 30 years she was a poll worker during elections at Washington School. Funeral Monday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart Church.
