Aida Lasusa

Aida LaSusa (nee Pernice) died on August 2, 2005 at home. Born in Italy, she lived in Lodi before moving to Fairfield 28 years ago. She worked as the Quality Control Manager for Jackie Evans, Inc. in Passaic, a womens apparel company for over 30 years. She was pre-deceased by her husband John LaSusa in 1969. She is the beloved mother of Lucia Cassanelli, Pat LaSusa, and Phillip LaSusa all of Fairfield and mother-in-law of Frank Cassanelli and Deanne LaSusa. Dear sister of Frances DiMitri of Elmwood Park, Maria Warren of Lyndhurst, Angelina Monaco of Fairfield, JoAnn Buzzelli of Fairfield, Elizabeth Christiana of Fairfield and John Pernice of Lodi. Also surviving are 5 cherished grandchildren, Kristina and Frank Cassanelli and John, Nicole, and Christopher LaSusa. The funeral will be Friday at 9am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 7 Two Bridges Rd. Fairfield with a 10am Mass at St. Thomas More RC Church. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi. Friends will be received on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm
