Al Cook

Al Cook, passed peacefully at home in East Rutherford on August 21st amongst family and friends. He was 82 years young. Predeceased by dad Leo, mother Nellie and siblings Edward, Frank and Florence. Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 29th, 1930, he grew up in Passaic, NJ. Served with the US Army in Alaska as an MP from 1951-1953. Involved in auto sales for 47 years, retiring in 2000 from City Motors in Passaic, NJ as Sales Manager after 20 years. Married Alice Liskai on July 7th, 1956 and they recently celebrated their 57th anniversary. Surviving in addition to his wife are son Scott & wife Serafina, daughter Cindy & husband Larry Frazer and granddaughter Brielle, son Craig & wife Judy, granddaughter Alyssa & grandson Derek, and daughter Stacee & husband Darrell Sobin and granddaughter Hallee. Funeral service Saturday at 11 AM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM.
