It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Ercoli, age 99, who departed this life on March 20, 2025, in Fairfield, New Jersey. Born on April 16, 1925, in Jessup, Pennsylvania, Albert lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.
Albert served in the United States Navy and was a proud WWII veteran who flew the flag every day, embodying the values of courage and service throughout his life. After his military service, he became a skilled machinist, dedicating many years to the Bobst Group, where he was respected by his colleagues for his hard work and expertise before retiring.
Albert is preceded in death by his loving wife, Johanna P. Ercoli. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Ann Marie Sharpe & her husband Ronald Greenstein, who will carry forward his loving memory. He is also mourned by his dear brother, James Ercoli, and sister-in-law, Audrey Perry. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, who will forever cherish the lessons of love, strength, and perseverance he imparted to them.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 2-6 PM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, where family and friends will gather to honor a remarkable man who brought light into the lives of those around him. Funeral mass Monday, 10 AM at St. Thomas More R.C. Church.
Albert's final resting place will be in Jessup, PA, where he will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 25, at 12 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Albert to join us in paying tribute to his enduring spirit and the love he so freely shared.
In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the memories we hold dear and the legacy left behind by a true gentleman. Albert Ercoli will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
