Alexander Stelmack

Stelmack, Alexander, 92, life long resident of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Stelmack. Loving father of Joseph Stelmack & his wife Cheryl and Tracy Edwards & her husband Arthur. Adored grandfather of Jesse & his wife Jessie, Jenna & her fiance Kevin, Jonathan, Tobi, Midshipman Kenneth, Lt. Robert, Stephen, Brian, Mark, Daniel. Dear brother of Sister Elizabeth Stelmack. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph & Balbina Stelmach and his siblings Benny, John, Edward, Jean, Terry, Mae, Florence, Anna, and Natalie. Alexander was a Navy Veteran who served during World War II and a member of both the Knights of Columbus and Polish American Club. He was a NASCAR member since 1952 and participated as a racer in NJ & NY, and a pit crew member for his son during his racing career. Mr. Stelmack was the owner operator of Page Auto Body for more than 30 years as well as the co-op teacher of Auto body in Lyndhurst. He was an avid train collector. Funeral Service Saturday 10:30AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
