Amparo Nieto Loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Amparo Nieto, a long time resident of Fort Lee, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2017 at 89. She was a beautiful, strong, and amazing woman who loved God and her family with all her heart. She will be missed by the many souls she touched and inspired. I hope you can join us to celebrate her wonderful life. Amparo is survived by her beloved husband, Jose and loving children Jose Jr. & Marie Nieto, Amparo & David Chrysostomas, Ana & Walter Strycharz, Roberto & Kristin Nieto. Her 8 grandchildren, Jose Manuel, Bianca, Paul, Michael, Connor, Samantha, Kathryn & Caroline were the light in her life. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, from 5-9PM at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, March 4, 11AM at Madonna Church on the Hill, 2070 Hoefley's Lane, Fort Lee. Everyone is asked to go directly to Church on Saturday. Entombment will take place immediately following at the Madonna Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York NY 10001.
