Andrea Imperiale

Andrea Imperiale, 89, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022.
He came from Partinico, Palermo, Sicilia, Italia, in search for a better life for his family. He arrived at Ellis Island in 1951, together with his parents and 5 siblings. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Lobaido) Imperiale. Andrea is survived by his ONLY child who adored him, Antonina Imperiale Catalano and his son in law Giacomo Catalano. Andrea will be reunited with his deceased SON Leonardo Imperiale. He is the Adored grandfather of Giulia and Marissa Catalano, who he loved more than life. Andrea was a mason/brick layer and a very hard worker who fulfilled his American Dream by purchasing and building properties in Lyndhurst where he loved to reside. He was the eldest brother of Elaine, Grace, Fran, Anna Marie, Lee, John, and the late Connie, Peter, and Dominick. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6PM. Funeral Monday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Please join our family, after the funeral, for lunch at Lassoni Ristorante, 602 Ridge Rd., North Arlington.
