Ann G Sylvester

Ann Gloria Sylvester (ne Petriello), fondly known as Bunnie, age 80, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away February 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Ann was the daughter of the late Bianca (ne Molinaro) and Lorenzo Petriello. Loving mother of son, Philip (Karina) and daughter, Karen Ricciardi (Robert). Dear sister of Mary Ann Wichowski. Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Thomas and Luca Sylvester and Matthew, Nicholas, and Michael Ricciardi. Adored aunt of Tami Grancagnolo (David). Ann was born and raised in Newark, NJ. She graduated from Central High School and worked for Prudential for 10 years. Ann then worked for the Livingston Board of Education for over 25 years while residing in Livingston. Anns greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She especially loved being with her grandsons. Ann donated time and service to Loaves and Fishes at Saint Raphael's Parish in Livingston, NJ by cooking meals and delivering them to the homes of the sick and elderly. Ann will always be remembered for her loving and caring ways. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation to Saint Barnabas Medical Center - Cancer Center at RWJBH.org. Memorial Mass Sunday 2:30PM at Saint Lucys Church, Newark.
