Anna M. Hartigan

Hartigan, Anna M. (nee Zullo) 90, of Lyndhurst, on Saturday, January 26, 2008.
Born in Astoria, NY, Mrs. Hartigan lived in Rutherford before moving to Lyndhurst 57 years ago. She was a telephone operator, working for 15 years in the Empire State Building offices of the Schiavone-Bonomo Iron and Steel Corp. and, later, for the Manhattan Bureau of U.S. Army Intelligence.
After raising her family, she was empolyed by the Lyndhurst Board of Education at Franklin School as a lunch program monitor and by the Bergen County Board of Elections.
Mrs. Hartigan was a 56 year member and Past President of the Barringer-Walker-LoPinto American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 139, a parishoner of Our Lady of Mr. Carmel R.C.Church, Lyndhurst and also belonged to Chapter 4319 of the Lyndhurst AARP.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Hartigan and her sisters, Mildred Flynn, Lillian Leonard, Geraldine Cavicchi and Genevieve Simonelli.
She is survived by her daughter Particia Van Hise of Allentown, NJ her son, Brian of Lyndhurst, three grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Tuesday 10AM from the Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 11AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
