Anna Marie Rafferty

Rafferty, Anna Marie (nee Viggiano), 89, of Bridgewater NJ, formerly of North Arlington NJ and Toms River NJ passed away on Thursday July 20, 2017. Loving mother of Frank E. Rafferty of Bridgewater NJ. Devoted Grandmother to Mellissa, Jenna, Kelly and Kevin Rafferty Dear sister of Margaret Bordino of Hewitt NJ and Emma Needham of Secaucus NJ. She is predeceased by her husband George W. Jr, son, George W. III, and her brothers Frank and Joe Viggiano. Anna was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to North Arlington in 1953 until 1979 when she moved to Carlstadt. She then moved to Toms River in 1989 staying until 2010 when she moved to current residence of Bridgewater. She was a dedicated wife, mother and part time bookkeeper and a great cook who enjoyed preparing fabulous meals for her family and friends. Anna was a Parishioner of Queen of Peace R.C. Church for 30 years and also a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River NJ. She loved to travel with her husband George, trips to Atlantic City, and loved to play bingo. She was a true caregiver to her mother and husband. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM.
