Anna Matarazzo (nee Locantore), 72, of Fairfield, NJ on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Beloved Wife of the late Nunzio Matarazzo. Loving Mother of Frank Matarazzo & his Wife Marianna and Maria Cappello & her Husband Salvatore. Dear Sister of Guiseppe & Pasquale Locantore, Rosa Gallotta and the late Antonio & Nunzio Locantore and Nicoletta Contangelo. Cherished Grandmother of Guiseppe & Antonina Cappello and Anna & Nunzio Matarazzo. Mrs. Matarazzo was born in Montescaglioso Matera, Italy. She came to the US in 1963 and settled in Paterson before moving to Fairfield in 1969. She was a Seamstress for Fordham Felt Works in Fairfield for 15 years before retiring in 1994. Previous to that she worked at several silk mills in Paterson. Mrs. Matarazzo was a parishioner at St. Thomas More R.C. Church in Fairfield. Funeral Friday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
