Anna P Furfero

Furfero, Anna P (nee Hanson), 97, of Waterbury, CT past away peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2009. She was the wife of the late Michael Furfero of Fort Lee, NJ. Mrs. Furfero was born in Far Rockaway, NY on April 2, 1912. She is the daughter of the late Elizabeth (nee McMahon) and John Barnard Hanson. She lived in Waterbury, CT for the past 35 years. She enjoyed many years as a lifetime member of the Bucks Hill Community Club. Mrs. Furfero enjoyed traveling and visiting with family members as well as crocheting. She is survived by her son Michael Furfero and his wife Elaine of Sparta, NJ, her two daughters Anna Furfer Kemp of Hanover, PA and Maria Light of Waterbury, CT with whom she lived, as well as 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends who will miss her. She is predeceased by two daughters, Lucille Piper of Bogota, NJ and Lorraine Ganley of Ridgefield Park, NJ and one grandson Stanley Piper. Funeral Services Monday 2:00PM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisades Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. Interment Madonna Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 12:00-2:00PM.
