Anna Rose Petrizzo

Petrizzo, Anna Rose , 87, of Jersey City, NJ passed away peacfully on Thursday, May 30, 2013. She was born on October 7, 1925 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Beloved wife of the late Anthony N. Petrizzo. Anna was daughter of the late Joseph & Frances (nee Ferrante) Scrudato and was the youngest of 8 children. Anna was a loving wife, mother & homemaker for most of her life and later was employed by the Jersey City School Lunch Program. She was a longtime parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church in Jersey City. Her memories will be cherished by her two loving sons; John M. Petrizzo, Sr. and his wife Susan of Shelton, CT and Joseph P. Petrizzo and his wife Laurel of Goshen, NY, six grandchildren; Mark Petrizzo & his wife Leigh Ann, Jessica Hicks & her husband Manuel Sr., Joseph J. Petrizzo, Katherine Petrizzo, John M. Petrizzo Jr., and Cara Petrizzo, four great-grandchildren: Manuel Hicks Jr., Monique Hicks, Tyler Petrizzo and Kyle Petrizzo and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10 AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
