Anna V. "Aunt Dolly" Niedbalski

Anna V. Niedbalski (nee Annunziata) known to most as “Aunt Dolly” passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. She was as feisty as ever till the very end. Born in August 1930, Anna was 88 years old.
She worked at Maidenform as a seamstress for many years and was a powerful union representative. “Annie” believed in her workers and fought hard for them. Anna retired from Maidenform over 25 years ago.
Anna was the devoted wife of Henry “Red” Niedbalski for 58 years before his death in 2016. She was an avid runner in her younger days and a fixture in Hudson County Park five days a week. She enjoyed her coffee, country music, and “cop shows”.
Surviving Anna are her three siblings (of nine) Michael Annunziata and his wife Alice, Rose Marie Cancro and husband Paul , and John Annunziata and his wife Marge. Anna was the beloved aunt of Eric and Donna (Cancro) Schaefer, Stephen and Carole (Cancro) Anselmo, Paul and Maureen (Gallagher) Cancro, and Wayne and Jennifer (Kastner) Cancro. Anna also had a host of many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that she leaves behind.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002 from 4-8 pm with a prayer service to be held that evening. Private cremation will follow.
