Anne Mary Barba

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anne Mary Barba, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted community member. Anne peacefully passed on February 26, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on May 11, 1934, in Avenel, NJ, she devoted her life to caring for others and making her community a safer place, notably serving as the Jefferson School Crossing Guard in Lyndhurst for over a decade.

Anne's warm spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of many throughout her years. Beloved mother of Lisa O'Neill, Thomas Barba and David Barba. Loving grandmother of Cheryl Ruiz & her husband David, David Barba & his wife Caitlyn, Ashley Imbimbo & her husband Antonio, and Danielle Barba. Cherished great-grandmother of Rebecca, Alexandra, Blake, Luca, Finley and Dante. Dear sister of Richard Lane and the late Marion Pinkava and John Lane. Her family was an important part of her life, sharing in the laughter and memories of family gatherings that will be dearly missed.

Visitation Monday, 3-7PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst where family and friends will gather to honor Anne's life and celebrate her remarkable journey.

Anne Mary Barba's legacy of kindness and dedication to her family and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In this time of loss, we are reminded of her unwavering love and the countless lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Nancy's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
