Anne J. Loretta

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anne J. Loretta, who left us on February 20, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 26, 1942, in Hoboken, NJ to Frank & Mary Loretta, Anne lived a life marked by kindness, hard work, and a profound love for her family.

Anne dedicated her career to the banking sector, working for 34 years for Manufacturers Hanover Trust, retiring in 1993. She then made her mark at Republic Bank and Boiling Springs, forging lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Anne was also a dedicated Treasurer at Mt. Carmel Senior Center, as well as a member of AARP #4866. Her commitment to service extended beyond her professional life; she was a pillar of support for those around her, always ready with a listening ear and a compassionate heart.

Anne was a cherished sister to the late Rose & her husband the late George Ruggeri. She is the aunt of the late George A. & the late Diane Ruggeri and survived by George’s wife Mayra. She was also a devoted great-aunt to Patricia Ruggeri, and Christian & his wife Nita Ruggeri. She will be deeply missed by her friends, especially Suzanne & her husband Dennis Pichnarcik, and her loving caretaker, Vida.

Anne's life was illuminated by the love she shared with her family, and her warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A liturgy to celebrate Anne's remarkable life will be held on Saturday 10:30 AM St George Byzantine Catholic Church in Newark. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, a cause close to Anne's heart. Your kindness will ensure her spirit lives on in the lives she touched.
