Anne N. Massa

Anne N. Massa (nee Salvatore) of Lyndhurst, NJ died at home on December 31, 2005. Born in Jersey City, she lived there until moving to Lyndhurst 50 years ago. Her husband Vincent pre-deceased her in 2000. Anne was a secretary for DeMassi Cadillac in Lyndhurst for 25 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Seniors and the Lyndhurst Chapter of the AARP. Anne is survived by her daughters Josephine Malaniak, Nancy Bachner, Frances DeFilippis, Barbara Carlon, and Margaret Hansen, and a son Vincent Massa, III. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 8:00am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst with a 9:00 am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, Lyndhurst. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. The family has requested that donations be made to the Hackensack Hospice, Hackensack University Medical Center, 30 Prospect Ave., Hackensack, NJ 07601-9984.
