Anne Vaughan

Vaughan, Anne M., of Palisades Park, peacefully left us on July 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family after a long, extremely brave but always strong and good humored healthcare battle. Anne was born and raised in Greenwich Village, New York City by her beloved parents, Catherine & James. Predeceased by the love of her life, Dave, after 65 wonderful years together. Cherished mother of David, Joanne, Keith and Jamie. Devoted grandmother of Julia Anne, Erin, Kerry and David III. Devoted great-grandmother of Michael, Mia and Rory. Loving sister of John A. Hickey and sister-in-law of Annette Hickey. Dear mother-in-law of Amy. Predeceased by brothers William, Joseph and James (Jay) and sister-in-law Fran Hickey. After Anne graduated from Holy Cross Academy and Secretarial School in New York City, Anne's first job was with a company located in the Empire State Building. While raising four children, Anne's amazing career lasted over 40 years with retirement in her 70's. Devoted to her family, Anne made every holiday, birthday, anniversary and every day special days with great memories. Anne lived her life to the fullest and always enjoyed being with her family, friends and the people around her - this is how she will always be remembered.  Friends will be received Monday 4-8PM at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Tuesday 9:30AM from the funeral home.  Mass 10:30AM St. John the Evangelist Church, Leonia.
