Sbrocco, Anthony "Broc", 88, of Fairfield, NJ passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Hospice after being diagnosed with Leukemia on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Beloved wife of Dolores (nee Bucco) Sbrocco. Loving father of Victoria Lieberman, Bernadette Rebane, Regina Bambach & Edward Sbrocco. Dear brother of Mary Baron. Cherished grandfather of 11. Mr. Sbrocco was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII and a retired Lt. Col of the US Army. Anthony was a graduate of Dickinson High School in 1942 and Seton Hall College in 1949. He was the Chairman of Guidance for the Newark Board of Education before retiring in 1986 and a former member of the NJEA. Funeral Thursday at 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, New Jersey. Funeral Mass 11AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9PM.
