Anthony Carmine Comforti, 67, of Ortley Beach, New Jersey, was called home by the Lord and his parents Louis and Anne Comforti on Thursday, October 25, 2018. He was born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey. Some called him Anthony, some Tony, but the titles he was most proud of are husband, dad, brother, and Pop. He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughters Danielle and Alexis, sons-in-law Brian and Tom, granddaughters Mollie and Madison, and his dog Riley. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great niece, sister Louanne Meo & brother-in-law Frank Meo, godchildren, brothers-in-law, and mother-in-law. Funeral Tuesday at 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
