Anthony Gilio

Anthony Gilio, 93, of Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020. Beloved son of the late Elia & Catherine Gilio (nee Cheffalo). Loving brother of the late Andrew and Vincent Gilio. Dear brother-in-law of Antoinette Gilio. Cherished uncle of Alex &his wife Barbara Gilio and Cathy Ann & her husband Ralph Ocasio. Beloved great uncle of Catherine & Gabrielle Gilio and Erik & Nicole Ocasio. Mr. Gilio was a World War II veteran and worked for Western Electric and the American Can Company for over 20 years. Friends will be received Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 9-11AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church,
149 Copeland Avenue, Lyndhurst. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics NJ, 1 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Way, Lawrenceville NJ 08648.
