Anthony J. Gedrimas

Gedrimas, Anthony J., 80, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Beloved husband of Elizabeth A. Gedrimas (nee Barkauskas). Devoted son of the late Joe & Rose Gedrimas. Loving father of Jane & her husband Tom Johnson, Rosanne Simmons & Terry Shoebridge, Lisa & her husband Togie Williams and Tony & his wife Michele Gedrimas. Dear brother of Joan Sawyer, Rosalie Formica and the late Joseph Gedrimas. Cherished grandfather of Lisa, Vinnie, Raymond, Jenna, Tom, Michael, Brielle & Anthony. Adored great-grandfather of Brooke. Also survived by many loved nieces, nephews and lifetime friends. Mr. Gedrimas was the original owner of Joe's Deli/Liquor Store. He was a past president of Lyndhurst Sportsman Club and former member of the Holy Name Society of St. Michael's Church. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Funeral service Wednesday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Private cremation. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
