Antoinette "Dolly" Ferry

Antoinette "Dolly" (nee DeBenedetto) Ferry, 87, of Nutley, New Jersey passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Generoso & Luisa (nee Sellitto) DeBenedetto. Loving mother of Donna & her husband Owen Loffredo and Lisa & her husband Frank Gagliardo. Cherished grandmother of Sabrina Theresa, Generoso "Geno", and Frankie. Loving sister Lucy Melchione, Anthony & his wife Marianne DeBenedetto, Dolores & her husband Lou Scanzillo, and brother-in-law Michael Napoli. Dear sister of the late Vincent "Jimmy" DeBenedetto, Theresa Linfante, Sabino "Sonny Boy" DeBenedetto, and Anna Maria Napoli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ferry was the Assistant Director of Telecommunications at Mountainside Hospital for 22 years before retiring in 2000. Dolly was a devout Catholic and showed her faith in all aspects of her life. She adored her family but her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Funeral Thursday 8:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass Thursday 10AM Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nutley. Interment Glendale Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 4 - 8PM.
