Antonio Tomba, 85, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 surrounded by family. He was born in Molise, Italy and came to the United States in 1969. Antonio resided in Jersey City, NJ. Antonio was a member of Local 472 for 21 years, where he worked until retiring in 1990. He celebrated life, love and focused on his family. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 59 years, of the late Cristina Tomba, devoted and loving father of Giuseppina D'Angelo, Domenick Tomba & his wife Lisa and JoAnne Borreca & her husband Aldo. Dear grandfather of Michael, Antonio, Chirstina, Filomena, Franco, Deana & Gianna. Loving great-grandfather of Domenick & Isabella. Funeral Wednesday at 8:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10:00AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Jersey City. Entombment Holy Name Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-9PM.
