Argentina Van Horn

Argentina "Tina" Van Horn (nee Baragano), 71, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, March 25, 2008. She is the loving mother of Reverend Linda Van Horn of South Bend, IN and Gloria Bianco & son-in-law Roger Bianco of Cedar Grove, NJ. Dear sister of the late Jose Baragano. She is the cherished grandmother of Alyssa, Sara and Nicholas. Tina was born in Cuba and came to this county when she married Albert Van Horn, Jr., who pre-deceased her in 1970, settling in Lyndhurst in 1959. Mrs. Van Horn was an Administrative Assistant for Cannon Inc. of Englewood Cliffs for 12 years, retiring in 2002. Most recently she worked as the Administrative Assistant for the Gateway North Greater NJ Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church for the past 3 years. Tina has been a very active member of the Lyndhurst United Methodist Church for 40 years, acting as the chairman of many of the church's commitiees such as the Church Council, Pastor-Parish Relations and Benevolance Treasurer. She is a member of the United Methodist Women and has served in numerous capacities as officer of the local, district, and conference chapters. The funeral will be Saturday at 11am at the Lyndhurst United Methodist Church. Interment George Washington Memorial. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
