Barbara Anne Carlon (nee Massa), 55, of Hopatcong, NJ formerly of Lyndhurst, on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Beloved wife of Tom Carlon. Loving mother of Denise & Kelly Carlon. Dear sister of Joanne & her husband Ed Malaniak, Nancy & her husband Ron Bachner, Fran Defilippis, Margaret & her husband Chris Hansen, Vincent & his wife Jackie Massa and sisters-in-law Nancy & her husband Fred Hughes, and Jill Murphy. Also survived by several nieces & nephews & their children. Barbara moved to Hopatcong 30 years ago where she was a member of St. Jude Church. She spent her last 23 years working at her payroll job for Hopatcong Board of Education. She always looked forward to Wednesday Mahjong and her sister trips which she talked about for the rest of the year. Funeral Tuesday at 10 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11 AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack NJ 07601.
