Barbara "Moppy" Gleeson

Barbara "Moppy" Gleeson, 76, of Mt. Arlington, NJ on Monday, November 26, 2012. Loving wife of the late John J. Gleeson (1992). Beloved mother of Catherine Rafferty, Debra Ward, Jake Gleeson and Barbara Gleeson. Cherished grandmother of Peter, Daniel, Kevin, Dylan, Cory, Kelly, Cindy & JoJo. A graduate of Pace University, Barbara was known to all her family and friends as "Moppy". She lived her life for her work and her family. She worked at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Valley National Bank and Journal of Commerce. Most recently she worked at the "Bow Wow Salon" with her daughter, as she loved her "dogs"! Moppy grew up in Jersey City, moving to Lyndhurst in 1968 and settled in Wayne in 1993. She loved going up to her lake house, taking day trips to Atlantic City and doing her crossword, jigsaw puzzles and reading. Funeral Friday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 6-9 PM.
