It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beata Magdalena Fajardo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted member of the community, who left us peacefully on February 17, 2025. Born on April 1, 1954, in the Dominican Republic, Beata dedicated her life to caring for others, serving as a compassionate home health aide in the New Jersey area. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering devotion to her family and faith left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Beata was the cherished matriarch of her family, who will dearly miss her warmth and wisdom. She is survived by her mother, Juana Fajardo; her children, Robert Reyes, Brunilda Reyes, Cynthia Reyes, and Henry Reyes; and her beloved grandchildren: Janet, Steven, Briana, Dylan, Mason, and Elias.
A devout Catholic, Beata was a steadfast supporter and patron of Most Holy Name Church in Garfield, NJ. Her faith was a guiding light in her life and the lives of those she touched.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th, 2025 from 4:00pm-8:00pm in Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst NJ. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025 at 10am in Most Holy Name Church, Garfield NJ. Burial, to follow, at 11:30am in Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.
