It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bradford Michael Cooke, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 77. Mike dedicated his life to serving his community as a police officer with the Lyndhurst Police Department, embodying the values of courage, duty, and compassion throughout his esteemed career in public safety.
Mike is survived by his beloved spouse, Linda Jean Cooke, and his cherished children: son Michael Bradford Cooke and his wife Leigh, daughter Melissa Carucci and her husband Stephen, and son Ryan Thomas Cooke and his wife Stephanie. He was a proud grandfather to Isabella Carucci, Marco Carucci, Patrick Cooke, Valentina Carucci, Nicholas Cooke, Claire Cooke, and Caden Cooke. He was the dear brother of the late Dennis Cooke and his wife Margaret and Kevin Cooke. He is also survived by his dog, Rudy; and two grand-dogs, Luci & Beau.
Mike will be remembered not only for his unwavering commitment to his family and profession but also for the love and joy he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4PM-8PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst NJ. Cremation is private.
