Bridget Wolferse (Casey), longtime resident of Fairfield, New Jersey, and Vietnam War veteran died at home at the age of 74. She now joins Kelvin Wolferse, her husband of over 20 years, in heaven. Born on December 30, 1943 in New York, New York, Bridget was the beloved daughter of the late Timothy & Mary Breen Casey of County Kerry, Ireland. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Hahn and brother, Michael Casey. She will be missed by her sister, Mary O'Connor (Thomas), her stepdaughter, Kellie Ann Wolferse, her granddaughters, Ashley & Brittany Rozyla, her sister-in-law, Roseann Casey, her nieces and nephews, Kerry Ann Casey-O'Donnell, Timothy Casey, Mary Brennan, Michael Casey, Thomas O'Connor, Kathleen McAdam, Siobhan Pesciotta, Timothy O'Connor, Kieran O'Connor, Brigid O'Connor, John Gilbert, Chris Fairfield and Sue Gilbert, along with many grandnieces and grandnephews. She proudly served her country as a nurse in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Known to her friends as Casey, she was a longtime member and past commander of the Fairfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7925. Funeral Mass Monday 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends will be received Sunday 3-5PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield.
