Carl "Butch" "Chick" Deluca

Carl Salvatore "Butch" "Chick" DeLuca, 77, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020. Beloved son of Carl and the late Genevieve DeLuca. Loving brother of Judy Tracey, Cynthia DeLuca, and the late Lorain Strom. Dear brother-in-law of Michael Tracey & the late Karl Strom. Cherished uncle of Karl, Jennifer, Michael, Megan, Connor, Tyler, and Deonna. Adored great-uncle of Rebecca, Matthew, and Nicholas. Carl is also remembered fondly by his cousins Dennis, Janis, & Kathy. Carl worked for many years at Foster Wheeler as a mail clerk & chauffeur, a security guard at Willowbrook Mall, & lastly, his favorite job, keeping the children safe as a crossing guard for the town of Caldwell. Friends will be received Tuesday 9:45-10:45AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 11AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
