Carl J. Carlson, 82, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Columbo) Carlson. Loving father of Anne Marie Williams, Karen & her husband Michael Moloughney and Jacqueline Carlson. Cherished grandfather of Meghan (Ruben), Jennifer, Nicholas, Lindsay, Kaitlyn and Sean. Adored great-grandfather of Lorenzo. Dear brother of Catherine Carlson, Elaine & her husband Charles McVey, Paul & his wife Joanne Carlson, Patricia & her husband James Perrotta and the late Richard Carlson, Michael Carlson and Mary Lou Fishedick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Carlson was a veteran of the US Army serving in Ethiopia. He was a Truck Driver for Consolidated Laundry (Local 560). Funeral Wednesday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM.
