Carlo S. Dardanello

Carlo S. Dardanello, 83, of Fairfield, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Raised in Garfield, Mr. Dardanello moved to Fairfield in 1968 where he remained for 49 years. He worked for John Hancock Financial before becoming the proprietor of Vincent's Interiors in Fairfield for 16 years and actively managed the property after leaving the business in 1981. Throughout his life Carl was a generous, loving man who enjoyed golf, and Sunday dinner with family. Beloved husband of 55 years Geraldine (nee Dugan) Dardanello, adored father of Annette Boyd & husband David, Meg Bruno & husband Dean, Carla Torter & Tom and Marissa DeVincenzo & husband Anthony. Cherished grandfather of Carissa, Cassandra, Ashley, Timothy, Dean, Matthew, Alexandra, Kayla, Jenna, Joseph and Erica. Loving brother of Cira Graceffo and Steve Dardanello. Also loved by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Friends will be received Friday 4-8 PM. Cremation private.
