Carmen Pompei Cifelli, 53, of Fairfield, NJ on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Beloved Husband of Anne Marie (nee Desranleau) Cifelli. Loving Son of Evelina and the late Addolorato Cifelli. Devoted Father of Daniel M. Cifelli of Fairfield, Melissa E. & her Husband John Kiel of North Haledon, Angelica M. Cifelli of Fairfield. Dear Brother of Tony Cifelli of Little River, SC, and Maria De Francesco of Iscernia, Italy. Cherished Grandfather of Brianna Kiel. Adored Godfather of Kristopher Kuziw, Jennifer and Genna Desranleau. Devoted Son-in-Law of Yvette and the late Marcel Desranleau. Also survived by many loving Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Cifelli was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1969. He lived in South Orange and Maplewood before moving to Fairfield 25 years ago. He was the Co-owner of DaVinci Foods in Fairfield for 25 years. He formerly coached soccer in Fairfield and received an Associate Degree in Language from Montclair State University in 1977. Funeral Saturday at 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 11AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Cremation will be private.
