Guzio, Carmine C. "Tom", 84, of Fairfield, NJ for over 60 years on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Mary Frances
(nee Krump) Guzio. Loving father & father-in-law of Barbara & her husband Emanuele Pisano, Thomas Guzio, and Marilyn Guzio. Dear brother of Theresa & her husband Frank Tencza. Cherished grandfather of Elena & her husband Laoufi Meghdir, Brandon, Kyle, Daniel, Matthew, and Taryn Guzio. Adored great-grandfather of Luca Meghdir. Loving friend of Angie Giglio. Mr. Guzio was an avid Golfer, Bowler having several 300 games, and Garfield High School baseball player drafted to the Red Sox before being sent to the Navy during WWII. He was a member of VFW Post#7925 and member and past-president of the Kiwanis in Caldwell. For over 30 years Mr. Guzio was stainglass craftsman with Payne Studios in Paterson, and also was a volunteer fireman for the Fairfield Fire Department for over 50 years. Funeral Monday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
