Carolyn Lynette Daboh

“Celebration of Life”

Carolyn Lynette (Howell) Daboh, 71, of Jersey City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020. Born on November 25, 1949 in High Point, North Carolina to her mother Ruth Ashworth Howell and the late Dr. Reverend William Howell. She was a shy, but fun loving child with many fond memories of her grandmother and childhood friends in North Carolina. A Proud graduate of William Penn High School class of 68. She went on to attend North Carolina A&T State University for a short time. Carolyn loved to sing in her local church choir. and around the house. She will be remembered most for her beautiful singing voice, joyful spirit and sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Earl Howell and Chris Howell and their father Dr. Reverend William Howell.

Carolyn was the loving mother to daughter Erica Howell, son Ibrahim Sadat Daboh and his wife Ronnesha Daboh. Adored grandmother of Kenneth Spell, Aliyah Spell, Asa Daboh, Josiah Daboh and Luke Daboh. Also, the great-grandmother of Isabella Walker and MaliKye Walker. Also survived by her mother Ruth Ashworth Howell, brother Nash Howell, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other loved ones.

Friends will be received at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne, New Jersey. Starting from 10am to 11:45am on Tuesday, Dec. 15 for the viewing. Note: due to Covid-19 restricts the funeral services will be limited capacity beginning at 11:45a.m. Immediately following the services, the burial ceremony will take place at Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City.
