Carolynn M. Carr

Carolynn Carr, 76, of New York City, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2023. She was born to Irene and Eugene Carr in Jersey City. Carolynn resided in Lyndhurst, NJ for a number of years before settling in New York City.
Carolynn is predeceased by her parents, her sisters; Ronnie Di Tonto and Winnie Costanzo, her brother Gene Carr, and her nephews; Joe Costanzo and Rob Carr. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Lynn (Marilynn) Minarovich, Lauren Foster, Tom Costanzo, Suzy McGuire, and Jay Carr. She is also survived by her longtime friends Susan, Stuart, and other friends who fondly called her Chicky.
Carolynn was an outgoing and friendly person with a great sense of humor. She was also a strong-willed person who overcame many challenges. Being an avid cat lover, Carolynn always had a soft spot in her heart for rescue cats. She enjoyed listening to music and was a fan of Elvis and The Doors.
Carolynn resided at Isabellas for a number of years where she made wonderful friends who enjoyed her company and listening to her stories.
Family and friends will miss her and fondly remember her zest for life.
