Cerutti, Catherine L. (nee Schlegel), 97, of Palisades Park, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Beloved wife of the late John J. Cerutti. Loving mother of Diane & her husband John Perides, Dr. John F. Cerutti, and Kathryn & her husband Peter Aschoff. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Suzanne, Sarah, and Christine. Catherine was raised by Frederick & Rose Schlegel in North Bergen with her sisters, Edna O'Keefe and Rosemarie Maison. She attended Catherine Gibbs School where she received her Associates Degree. Mrs. Cerutti worked for Sears before becoming the legal secretary for Wolfberg, Elgart, Schwartz, VanSickel, and Feldman Law Firm in Union City. When her husband became the co-owner of The Lemon Tree Inn in Cliffside Park, she worked tirelessly in all aspects to help him there. Most recently she was the secretary for her son's chiropratic office. Services private. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
