Catherine Purpura

Catherine Purpura, age 62 of Fairfield, NJ, formerly of Belleville, died on January 7, 2006 at Compassionate Care Hospice of St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. Born in Newark, she lived in Belleville until moving to Fairfield several months ago. She was pre-deceased by her parents Evelyn(nee Giampietro)Purpura and John Purpura. She is the dear sister of Gary Purpura and his wife Carol of Churchville, PA, Dennis Purpura and his wife Bernadette of Fairfield, Carl Purpura and his wife Angela of Bloomfield, Carmella Muro of Fairfield, and Sheila Caruso of North Arlington. She is the loving aunt of 14 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 9:00am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 7 Two Bridges Rd. Fairfield with a 10:00am Mass at St. Thomas More RC Church. Interment Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
