Catherine Raffo

Catherine Raffo (nee Gilfillan) age 81, died November 28, 2005 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. Born in Scotland, she lived in North Arlington and then in Rutherford for the past 50 years. She was a long time member of the Lyndhurst United Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon there. Catherine was pre-deceased by her husband James Raffo in 1983. She is the beloved mother of Rita Greiss of Bronx, NY and Dave Daffo of Central Islip, NY. She was the dear sister of Thomas Gilfillan and Helen Konic. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Rober and Mark Greiss and Alexandra Raffo. The funeral services will be on Friday at 11:00am at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst. Hinterment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
