Catherine W. Sluke

Catherine Sluke (nee Wach), 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 1, 2025, after a long battle with dementia.

Born in Rockaway, NJ, Catherine lived in Farfield for 50 years before moving to Cedar Knolls 9 years ago. She was a proud member of the bible study, prayer group, and the 55+ club at St. Thomas More as well as the Golden Age Group in Fairfield, NJ

She is predeceased by her husband Richard Sluke and her grandson Marc. She has 5 children. Richard Sluke and his wife Kathy, Jeanne Lewis and her husband Russel, Joseph Sluke and his wife Elaine, Edward Sluke and his wife Liz, and Jonathan Sluke and his wife Sandy. She had 11 grandchildren, Ricky, Kasey, Rachel, Joseph, Christopher, Jonathan, Isabel, Ian, Kristen, David, and Claudia. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, her brother-in-law & sister-in-law John & Claire Sluke, and many nieces and nephews.
