Charles J. Davis, Sr., 80, a Secaucus, NJ resident died on Friday, May 15, 2020. He was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Charles and the late Loretta (nee Dynes) Davis in 1940 in Jersey City, NJ. Before moving to Secaucus, he resided in Jersey City, NJ, moved with his family to Sullivan County NY in the late 1970s where he remained until about 10 years ago.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved being outside enjoying nature, the NY Giants and the NY Mets.

He was the beloved father of 5 children, daughter Cheryl Carman, son Charles J. Davis Jr., daughters and sons-in-law Michele and Robert Elliott, Patricia and Vinny Cuviello, and Mary Davis & David Behnke. He was the cherished grandfather of Richie, Dayna and her husband Steve, Christopher, Lauren, Gabrielle, Anthony, Carrie, Natalie and Alex and his great-granddaughter, Taylor. He was preceded in death by Patricia B. (nee Zevoteck) Davis, his wife of 47 years in 2009. Charles was one of 8 children and is survived by his brothers, sisters and their spouses, Robert and Mary Davis, Richard and Lois Davis, Thomas and Pat Davis, Mary Ann and Timmy Sullivan, Loretta Circkirillo and sister-in-law, Carol Davis. He was predeceased by his brothers, John Davis and Edward Krup. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Formal services to celebrate his life will be scheduled at a later date.

Charless late wife, Patricia B Davis, his daughter, Patricia Cuviello and his grandson, Anthony Cuviello were all diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the PKD Foundation on their behalf.
